1ST INTERNATIONAL 6TH NATIONAL EMERGENCY NURSES CONGRESS

INVITATION LETTER

Dear Colleagues;

As the ASSOCIATION OF EMERGENCY NURSES (AHEMDER) established in 2010 in our country, we are adding another one this year to our scientific activities carried out with congresses, symposiums and post-graduation trainings at national and international level in the field of Emergency Nursing. In this context, we are excited to hold our first international congress online on 4-6 June 2021.

This congress dedicated to our esteemed colleague Cemile AKBİNAR nurse who has worked in the field of Emergency Nursing and in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Ege University for many years. We set out with the main theme of the congress as A LEADING VOICE FOR THE HEALTHCARE OF THE FUTURE: EMERGENCY NURSES

This congress aims to evaluate all aspects of Emergency Nursing in a union of leading scientists, researchers and clinicians who are leading in patient care in emergency departments; to share experience and research results in this field. For these purposes, in addition to providing practical challenges and solutions to these challenges, it will provide an interdisciplinary platform aimed at sharing the latest developments and innovations.

Our congress, which we plan to have rich content with the participation of national and international speakers, will provide a unique opportunity to convey innovative ideas and practices, to announce and share the problems of emergency nurses and solutions to these problems with our colleagues and nursing students, and to make the leading voice of Emergency Nursing in maintaining health. In this three-day congress, oral and poster presentations will be included on issues covering all areas of Emergency Nursing, especially evidence-based practices in Emergency Nursing. Within the scope of this congress, current issues of Emergency Nursing will be discussed in different sessions with conference, panel, oral and poster presentations. Additional courses will be provided for some special areas that our colleagues may be interested in.

We invite all our colleagues and everyone who is committed to Emergency Nursing to contribute to this congress with research abstracts, reviews, case reports and e-posters, to present the results of conceptual, constructive, experimental or theoretical studies in all areas of Emergency Nursing.

We hope to see you among us at the 1st International 6th National Emergency Nursing Congress, which will enrich with your participation, and thank you in advance for your valuable contribution and participation.

ABSTRACTS PREPARATION RULES

Deadline for abstract submission: The date of submission has been postponed to 29 May.

Abstracts should be sent to the e-mail of acilhemsireler@etkinkampus.com Abstracts sent by fax or Whatsapp will not be evaluated. Please write the type of your abstract and which scientific field it belongs to, in the “subject” section of the mail: e-poster/review, oral presentation/review, e-poster/research, oral presentation/research, e-poster/case report, oral presentation/case report.

Participants who want their papers to be printed in full text in the congress e-book or who want them to be published as an international book section will be given information about the deadline and writing rules on the following websites

The presenting author must have paid the congress registration fee for the abstracts to be accepted. Abstracts will be sent in English. Participants could send their abstract in Turkish along with English.

Accepted abstracts can be presented in the language preferred by the author. In the abstract, the title of the paper, the name and surname of the authors and the institution they work for should be stated respectively. The abstract title of the paper should be short and reflect the subject content. The title should be in capital letters and in bold. In the abstracts, after the title of the abstract is written, the type of the study (research, review, case) should be written in parentheses. The abstract should be understandable in terms of content and scope.

In the abstract of the original research; the introduction, aim, method, results, conclusion and keywords should be included.

In the abstract of the review; the introduction, subject’s titles, results and keywords should be included.

In the abstract of the case report; introduction, case(s), conclusion and keywords should be included.

Abstracts should be between 350-400 words. International standard abbreviations can be used in the text. If there is a special abbreviation, the full explanation of the abbreviation should be written by opening parentheses where it is first used. Authors can choose the presentation form (oral or poster). However, the presentation method can be changed by the Scientific Committee depending on the content of the abstract. The acceptance or rejection of the submitted abstract will be evaluated by the congress scientific committee and correction may be requested from the authors when deemed necessary.

All correspondence will be made with the person who sent the abstract. The acceptance or rejection status of the abstract will be automatically sent to the e-mail address specified in the registration process. In addition, accepted abstracts will be announced on the website. All accepted abstracts as oral or poster presentations will be included in the congress CD or website. All accepted abstracts as verbal or poster presentations will be included as e-books on the congress website and AHEMDER website.

Oral presentation time should be planned as 10 minutes in total, including presentation and discussion.

POSTER ABSTRACT (E-POSTER) Poster presentations determined by the scientific committee will be presented as electronic posters (e-posters) at the congress. Abstract accepted as posters will be uploaded to the system as e-posters on the date to be announced in WORD format.
